Upcoming Meeting of the Standing Panel on the Public Service

Please join me on Friday, October 27, 2017, for the next meeting of my Standing Panel on the Public Service. We will meet at the NAPA office at 1600 K Street, N.W., Suite 400, Washington, D.C. at 10:00 a.m. Our session will run until noon, with a light lunch to follow for those of you who are able to stay and continue the dialogue. We have a jam-packed session planned, highlighted by Bill Valdez and Jason Breifel, leaders of the Senior Executive Association (SEA). They will be joined by Karl Schneider and Wynn Coggins, co-chairs of SEA’s Human Capital Leadership Community of Change (CoC). Many of you may recall that Bill and Jason met with us last Spring and outlined their plans for SEA. Now we have the opportunity to hear from both them and their HR leads on what is underway and planned for the future. We will cap the morning with a review of the findings from the recent survey the SEA conducted in partnership with Deloitte. That report includes feedback from more than 750 federal leaders on areas of concern as they implement change at their agencies.
