Celebrating Public Service

I serve because I believe in public service, democracy, and the importance of good governance.

I appreciate public servants because they are often the unsung heroes who do much work behind the scene to solve our communities greatest needs.

An individual who has inspired my career in public service is my father who believed that it was a noble career, that good governance was important for democracy, and that no matter what happened to our society, education was the only thing that could not be taken away from you. He knew this first hand as he had to leave his county with his young family when the communists came to power.
