Vincent Micone

Vince Micone is a trusted leader with proven ability to build coalitions, manage transformational change, and deliver results in multibillion dollar organizations.

Most recently, Vince served as the senior career official at the U.S. Department of Labor. As Deputy Assistant Secretary for Operations, he had overall responsibility for HR, facilities, procurement, civil rights, security, and employee safety and health. Vince served as Acting Secretary during the Presidential transition.

Vince previously led the U.S. Department of Commerce enterprise services program for IT, acquisition, HR, and financial management solutions. He served in the U.S. Department of the Treasury as COO for a law enforcement agency. Vince also held executive positions at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security including Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Legislative Affairs, Senior Counselor, and Chief of Staff. He began his career through Presidential Management Fellows program at the U.S. Department of Justice.

Vince served as chairperson of the Combined Federal Campaign of the National Capital Area, the government’s workplace giving campaign. Under his leadership, over $800 million in charitable contributions was raised for non-profit organizations. Vince is an elected official in DC and served as a reserve police officer. He led the DC Commission on National and Community Service.

Vince is a graduate of Arizona State University (BA) and the University of Southern California (MPA).
