Biography

Ramayya Krishnan has been an International Research Fellow at the International Center for Electronic Commerce in Seoul, Korea, since 1998. Concurrently, since 1999, Ramayya has held the prestigious position of W.W. Cooper and Ruth F. Cooper Professor of Management Science and Information Systems at Carnegie Mellon University. In addition to these roles, Ramayya has been serving as the Dean of the H. John Heinz III College at Carnegie Mellon University since 2009. In 2003, Ramayya was a Visiting Professor at the Indian School of Business. Prior to these appointments, Ramayya was a Professor of Management Science and Information Systems at Carnegie Mellon University from 1997 to 1999, and an Associate Professor in the same field from 1994 to 1997. Ramayya also spent time as a Visiting Scientist at the Institute for Information Systems at Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany, from 1995 to 1996. Earlier in Ramayya's career, they were an Assistant Professor of Management Science and Information Systems at Carnegie Mellon University from 1988 to 1994.
